Tax & Innovation Drive Growth! Jiangsu Tricycle Exports Up 45% YoY
In Q1 this year, overseas orders of Jiangsu electric tricycles increased by 45% year-on-year, with Xuzhou Fengxian and Jiawang becoming key export clusters. Preferential tax policies and technological innovation have become core drivers.
A leading enterprise in Jiawang District reported exports of about USD 3 million in 2024, up 39% year-on-year. Supported by R&D expense deductions and export tax rebates, the company invested over RMB 8 million in product upgrading, launching customized models with anti-rust treatment for tropical areas and battery insulation for cold regions, exported to Mexico, Turkey and other countries.
Jiangsu Guowei Motorcycle exported nearly 70,000 units in 2025, including the first shipment of 200 units to Ecuador. The company adjusts logos, safety standards and performance to match local markets, covering cargo, passenger and special-purpose vehicles in over 40 countries.
Meanwhile, Wuyang Electric’s Xuzhou Meibang Technology Industrial Park was put into operation with an annual capacity of nearly 2 million units. Jiangsu Feimi Vehicle signed a 50,000-unit export order with Tanzania, achieving full independent production from R&D to delivery.
